How To Get To Us
From Killarney, take the N72 (also known as the Ring of Kerry) and follow the signs for the Gap of Dunloe, Black Valley, and Kate Kearney’s Cottage. You’ll find The Black Valley Hostel a short distance (8km) from Kate Kearney’s Cottage at the entrance to the Gap of Dunloe.
From Kenmare, take the N71 and at Moll’s Gap, stay left and turn right at the next crossroads. You’ll find The Black Valley Hostel (8km) from this crossroads.
The Black Valley Hostel is well signposted from both Molls Gap and Beaufort.

Get out at the O’Sullivans shop Beaufort Bridge stop.
From here continue over the bridge in the direction of Gap of Dunloe/Kate Kearneys Cottage.
After reaching Kate Kearneys cottage continue on through the Gap of Dunloe in to the Black Valley.

From Killarney take the N71 towards Muckross/Kenmare. If you are walking you can go along the Kerry way walking route. For cyclists you will have to continue until you reach Molls Gap and talk a right towards Sneem. After 1km you will see a road to the right with a signpost for the hostel. continue along this route until you reach the hostel in the Black Valley.
